The inspiration for this line of earthenware products were handwoven baskets from Malawi, Africa.

The feel of the basket structure has been translated into a fine ribbed surface. The patterns have been applied by hand-painting.

The range consists of three nesting plates and bowls and a range of vases and jars.

This design has been developed jointly with my colleague Sarah Fulford.
